		Montana Fly Fishing Guides and Packages A guide is recommended for people who are relatively new to fly fishing. A guide can also be beneficial to anyone who is floating the river for the first time. It certainly helps to have someone point out all the hot spots on your first day. However, if you are an experienced angler and you don't know the Bighorn River, you can still do well without a guide. Most guided trips cost anywhere between $300 and $475 per day (depending on number of people). This includes a boat, flies, lunch, terminal tackle, instructions on technique, and transportation to and from the river.
